The data on incidence and survival of children and adolescents with cancer presented on these pages were collected by the members of European Network of Cancer Registries (ENCR), and compiled and tabulated at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), which funded the project together with other funders. Further funding is necessary to support the ongoing need to monitor incidence and population-based survival of European children and adolescents with cancer.

In collaboration with cancer registries, the ACCIS database is being updated, and the first results from this updated database are expected in early 2016. In the meantime, the previously released data are available here. These are based on data collected in 2000-2001 and cover the period up to the end of the 1990s.

For the benefit of all, the tables are freely accessible. When publishing any of these data, please acknowledge the source of the data by citing the following webpage address: or the relevant publications. Consistent citation of this website and other ACCIS products will aid in keeping this source alive.
